Abstract: "Through this project, we explored and studied Harlem’s 125th Street to better under-stand the Caribbean diaspora. We have chosen food to be the utensils through which we “cook” our findings. After interviewing and exploring the many Caribbean restaurants on 125th we partnered with SISTERS to come up with this outdoor sitting proposal. They expressed how after covid 19 and the increase in food delivery apps have forced them to close their outdoor seating. This we think is a great loss for the community."
