We Live In Harlem - The Photographic Work of Yasuo Wakaiki In the early eighties, a young Yasuo Wakaiki visited Harlem arriving at 135th and Broadway from Japan for what was initially intended to be a short stay. The visit would turn out to last over a decade and yield an incisive body of work that chronicled the Harlem of the time.
